  D-Side成立于2001年，是继Boyzone、Westlife之后又一支迅速在全球窜红的爱尔兰男孩偶像团体。他们在日本、英国和欧洲大陆非常受欢迎，并在2002年的The Smash Hits Tour中荣获最佳新组合大奖。D-Side最初由五名成员组成, 分别是 Ryan O'Rian, Shane Creevey, Derek Moran, Damien Bowe 和 Dane Guiden。遗憾的是，Damien 和 Dane因个人原因后来离开了D-Side。

D-Side is an Irish boyband. Established in 2001,by twin doctors and then management moguls Rory and Eoghan Mac Sweeney, they have had some success in Japan, the United Kingdom, and Europe, winning Best New Band Award at the Smash Hits Tour in 2002. The band was originally made up of five members, Ryan O'Rian, Shane Creevey, Derek Moran, Damien Bowe and Dane Guiden. It became a threesome, however, when Damien and Dane both left for personal reasons.

  They have had 3 top ten singles in the UK, and have supported Blue, Westlife and numerous other bands on tour during 2003 and 2004, as well as being involved in Charity events such as Soccer Magic, Soccer 6, Children in Need and ChildLine, raising money for good causes.

  Over the past few years they have been successful in Japan where their single "Invisible" reached number one. They have released three studio albums there. They are signed to the Japanese record label, Avex, managed by MadDog Management, and went on tour at the end of 2005.
